Labrador Park Outing 23/12/2010
The Photographic Society of NUS (NUSPS) held an outing to Labrador Park on the afternoon of 23rd December 2010 (Thursday). Despite windy and cloudy weather conditions, NUSPS members seized this opportunity to shoot spectacular skies filled with lightning. After the sunset, an evening light-painting workshop was held especially for members, followed by a giveaway lucky draw sponsored by Cathay Photo.
Congratulations to the 2 members V. Suresh Kumar & Yip Jun Hoe who won the Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom (Worth S$88) and Joby GorillaTorch (Worth S$40).

Pulau Ubin Outing 18/12/2010

NUSPS Labrador Park Outing: Sunset & Light Painting
Dear Member,
For this holidays, as one of the many exciting outings we have, we will be organizing a sunset shoot and light painting session at Labrador Park!
Here are the details:
Date: 22nd Dec 2010(Wednesday)
Time: 1700hrs - 2000hrs
Meeting venue: Harbourfront MRT station
Things to bring:
- Tripod
- Camera
- Torch for light painting
- Water
- Umbrella / poncho (important)
- Cable release (optional)
Participate and stand a chance to walk with a Joby Gorillapod SLR-Zoom (worth S$88) and a Joby GorillaTorch (worth S$40)* on the day!
The 2 equipments will be available for all participants to try out during the outing.

Pulau Ubin Outing

For those who are still stuck in Singapore, NUSPS have a perfect getaway for you this holiday ! We will be organizing a photography trip to the sunny island of Pulau Ubin !

Botanic Garden Outing 09/10/2010

Please note that limited spaces are available.
Things to note:
* Wear casual attire
* Comfortable footwear
* Bring a bottle of water, umbrella
* Bring a DSLR if you have one
* $1 (admission fee for National Orchid Garden)
* Bring your matric card/ez link card(student) as the above mentioned price is only applicable for students (Otherwise, $5 per person)
* Should you wish to loan a DSLR, please indicate under comments. However, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to loan due to the limited number of DSLRs. You are advised to bring you own memory cards as all the cards provided with DSLRs are properties of NUSPS and Canon Inc.
