NUSPS will be organising another darkroom course (Paper Printing Course)! During the course, you will learn how to use the enlarger and print photograph from film to paper. Please refer to the details below.

NUSPS Darkroom Course
Dear Member,
The Photographic Society of NUS (NUSPS) will be conducting another round of basic darkroom course. Through this course, you will be able to learn how to develop your own black and white film.
Details of the course:
There are 4 available slots open exclusively for NUSPS members:
* 15th Jan 2011 (Saturday) 1.30pm-3.30pm
* 15th Jan 2011 (Saturday) 4.00pm-6.00pm
* 18th Jan 2011 (Tuesday) 7.00pm-9.00pm
* 23rd Jan 2011 (Sunday) 9.00am-11.00am
Venue: Darkroom, Level 5, Yusof Ishak House
Cost: $3 per person
Instructor: Jonathan Ong(Darkroom Director)

Dear Members,
Due to overwhelming demand back in September 2010, the Photographic Society of NUS (NUSPS) will be holding another Basic Photography Course on 8th Jan 2011. The course is exclusive for NUSPS members.

Time : 9.30 am – 12.30 pm
Venue : Training Room 4, Yusof Ishak House
Instructor: Huang Bumin (Canon)
Cost: Free (only for NUSPS members)

11.30am-12.30pm Sharing Session
Things to take note:
- Canon DSLRs will be available for loan on the day. However, we strongly encourage those who have DSLR to bring theirs along.
- As this course is exclusively for members, Membership Card is to be presented upon entry
- You are encouraged to have your meal before coming for the course as no refreshment will be provided

NUSPS is organizing a darkroom course for all its members. You will learn the art of processing 35mm B&W film in our very own darkroom and get a chance to experience what film photography is all about. So what are you waiting for, starting shooting your roll of B&W film now !
Details of Basic Darkroom Course
Date: 14 Dec 2010
Time: Session 1 - 1030hrs ~ 1230hrs
Session 2 - 1315hrs ~ 1515hrs
Venue: NUSPS Darkroom (YIH level 5)
Fee: $3
Note:
Only B&W Film developing will be covered.

Post Processing Course
Dear members,
The Photographic Society of NUS will be holding a Post Processing Course on Saturday 6th November 2010.
Things to note:
* The Post Processing Course consists of 3 separate parts, the Digital Photo Professional(DPP) course, the Adobe Lightroom course and the practical session.
* The DPP course will be conducted from 9am to 10am.
* The Lightroom course will be conducted from 10am to 11am.
* The practical session will be from 11am to 12pm.
* Members are allowed to sign up for any of the slots. Please click here to sign up.
* Members are strongly encouraged to bring along their laptops on the day. Please install the DPP &/or Adobe lightroom software on the laptops before coming for the course.
Adobe Lightroom trial version can be found here.
DPP can be found in the CD bundled free with all Canon DSLRs.
* For those who are attending the practical session, you may wish to bring along some photographs that you wish to edit.

* You are encouraged to have your breakfast before coming for the course as no refreshment will be provided.
